Hanging Solo

Hanging Solo is a scratching post that hangs instead of stands. One solid 80 cm post hangs from the ceiling on a slim stainless steel cable, finished with a rope-wrapped cap at the bottom, so it takes up no floor space at all and leaves the room looking clean and open. It reads more like a piece of sculpture than a cat accessory.

Why you will love it

• Zero floor space. No base to work around: it hangs exactly where your cat already likes to scratch, beside the sofa, by a window or next to a door frame.
• Height you choose. The 3 m cable lets you hang the post at the height that suits your cat and your ceiling.
• Real materials. A solid wood core wrapped tightly in sisal or cotton rope, with a rope-wrapped cap and plywood spacers finished in organic wood oil.
• Made to be looked at. A single clean line of rope and wood that sits well with good furniture.
