Cat scratching posts that last, and can be replaced

Scratching is how cats stretch, sharpen their claws and mark their territory. A good scratching post has to be tall enough for a full stretch and solid enough not to wobble, or your cat goes back to the sofa. Kikska posts are solid wood, 13 cm across, wrapped tightly in rope.

Sisal or cotton?

Sisal is firm and rough, the classic texture most cats love to dig into. Cotton is softer and quieter, good for kittens and gentler scratchers.

Posts join end to end with a hairpin screw, so 20, 40 and 80 cm sections build any height. When a post is worn out, replace just that post and keep the rest of your tree. Finish the top with a rope-wrapped cap, or mount a post on the wall with our wooden wall mount.
